Ilya Nazarov, CEO of Digital Markets and a board member of the STC, spoke at a United Russia press conference dedicated to the launch of the “Russian Technical Society” (RTO) movement. According to Nazarov, the initiative will be an important step toward building an infrastructure of trust and standards of cooperation between small technology companies.

Small technology companies are fast and technological, but they lack a trusted environment. RTO is exactly what can create the infrastructure and standards for development and cooperation. We fully support it and are ready to act together.

The press conference was held under the slogan “Choose Your Own!”. The launch of RTO was supported by representatives of the defence, chemical, construction and education industries.

Among the initiatives are a youth wing of RTO, the development of an engineering approach to management and the integration of digital standards into industry. Speakers stressed that RTO should become a “keeper of the engineering conscience” and a pillar of the country’s technological sovereignty.
